Rocky Repeats As OFL Champ; Josh's Magical Season Spoiled By Missed PATs

AND ACTIVATED FROM IR ANTHONY RICHARDSON, COLTS
Rocky becomes the 2024 OFL Champion, repeating and victorious in 14 consecutive
title game appearances dating back to 1986. However, this year's title tilt
versus Josh was anything but normal to Josh's chagrin. This is what happened in
the Lions/49ers Monday night contest which would determine the OFL championship:
With less than 3 minutes remaining in the game, Josh had a 7-point lead and the
49ers had the ball but then threw an interception. Rocky's RB Gibbs promptly
scored on a 30-yard run (7 points) to tie Josh who held the tie-breaker, so
really no harm done. Right? The ensuing PAT would ensure victory for Josh who
had the Lions ST (Bates PK). Bates had missed an earlier PAT forcing the Lions
to go for 2-pts in the game subsequent to a 3rd-quarter TD. Thus Bates was
denied another extra-point attempt and surely Bates would not miss another PAT
which would be the only way that Rocky could beat Josh. Guess what happened?

Suicide Pool: IT'S OVER!
Congratulations to Arkansas who outlasts Josh and wins his 2nd Suicide Pool.
Score32 Pool: Per the pool's rules, it will continue for one more week to the
end of the NFL regular season. After it concludes, winners' accounts will be
updated to reflect pool money balances.
The last Owner's Meeting will be this Sunday January 5 hosted by the Levett clan
with (UNC) George providing the venue. Plan on arriving at George's around 1 PM
for the afternoon games. The usual festivities will take place with drinks, food
(including dinner), "LEFT/RIGHT/CENTER", and OFL year-end business. Re that last
item, try to settle your money accounts. We will also be drawing the teams for
the annual Super Bowl Pool - your entry fee for this has been added to your
account (see the "Current Standings" and "Owner Financials" web pages).
